Who we are

Folrik Studio ("Folrik", "we", "us") operates folrik.com. We are a business based in the United States, with a team that works remotely across several time zones. For anything in this policy, email hello@folrik.com.

What we collect, and why

• When you send a brief: your name, company, email address, project type, budget range, timeline, and message. We use them to reply to you and scope the work. The site delivers the brief to our inbox by email and keeps no copy of its own.
• When you email yourself an estimate: your email address and the options you chose in the estimator. We use them to send you the estimate, and we receive a copy so an engineer can follow up once.
• When you email us directly: whatever you choose to include.
• When you book a call: booking runs on Cal.com and calls take place on Google Meet, each under its own privacy policy. We receive the booking details, such as your name, email address, the time, and any notes you add.
• When you browse the site: our hosting provider processes standard request data (IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time) to deliver the site and protect it. To limit abuse, our forms also use your IP address and, for estimate emails, the recipient address. Both are held only in server memory, discarded ten minutes after the last use, and never written to storage.

What we do not do

• We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party scripts on this site.
• We do not sell your personal information, or share it for advertising.
• We do not add you to a mailing list.

Sensitive information

Please do not send health information about patients, payment card details, passwords, or other sensitive data through our forms or by email. If a project needs sensitive data, we agree a secure way to handle it before any is shared.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that make the above possible, and only for that purpose:

• Resend, which delivers emails sent from our forms.
• Our email provider, which hosts our inbox.
• Our hosting provider, which serves the website.
• Cal.com and Google, if you book a call.

Legal requests and business changes

We disclose information when the law requires it, for example in response to valid legal process. If our business is ever sold or merged, the information would transfer with it, still under the terms of this policy.

Where your information is processed

Your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our team or providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from yours.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need to respond and follow up. If we do not end up working together, we delete them within 24 months of our last contact. If we do, they become part of the engagement records, which we keep for as long as tax, accounting, and legal obligations require.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or tell us not to follow up. Email hello@folrik.com and we will respond within one month. We honour these requests wherever you live.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom: we rely on taking steps at your request before a possible contract to reply to briefs and send estimates, and on our legitimate interests for a single follow-up and for keeping the site secure. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not track visitors across sites or over time, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. The site behaves the same either way.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

The site is served only over encrypted connections, form submissions are not stored on the site, and access to our inbox is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page and describe any material change here.
